20th Coronation Anniversary: Aiyedatiwa Hails Ojomo Oluda’s Royal Influence, Commissions Rep Adelegbe’s Sponsored Conference Hall

The governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has described the Ojomo Oluda of Ijebu-Owo, Oba Kofoworola Oladoyinbo Ojomo, as a monarch whose influence continues to attract positive changes to his community.

The governor stated this at the 20th coronation anniversary ceremony of Ojomo Oluda, held in Ijebu-Owo, on Saturday.

Represented by his deputy, Olayide Adelami, the governor said the traditional ruler’s accomplishments in the public sector and in the military prepared him for the exalted position.

According to him, “We want to thank you greatly for the many positive changes you have continued to use your royal influence to attract to your people and to the land.

“Kabiyesi, on behalf of government and great people of Ondo state, I wish to felicitate with your majesty, for standing tall in the 20 beautiful years of accession to the throne of your fore-fathers”

While at the coronation anniversary ceremony, the governor commissioned the event venue, which is an ultra-modern conference hall that was built and donated to the community by Member House of Representatives (MHR) for Owo/Ose federal constituency, Timehin Adelegbe.

The high-point of the event was the installation of Adelegbe and his wife as the Bobagunwa and Yeye Bobagunwa of Ijebu-owo by the Ojomo Oluda.

The governor praised Adelegbe not just for donating the building to the community but making it a befitting conference and events centre. He said this and many more earned him the prestigious chieftaincy title.

Earlier in his address, the Ojomo Oluda thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for his support, as he praised Adelegbe’s stellar performance as a representative of people of Owo/Ose federal constituency.

He said, “We here do not give our chieftaincy to the highest bidder. He {Adelegbe} is more deserving of the honor like we have given to him.
