Popular Akure prince, Pastor Anthony Adesoji Adesida, also known as STAG, will be buried today.
Stag, a fun-loving, social and disciplined prince from the Adesida royal family died on 28 April, 2023 at the age of 65.
According to his brother, Prince Adeyinka Adesida, the USA-based pastor began his journey home with a Service of Songs and Tributes on Saturday 20th May at RCCG Living Spring Miracle Center, Campus 1000 Columbia Avenue, Linwood Pennsylvania USA.
Funeral rites began in Nigeria on Wednesday 24th May with Service of Songs/Night of Tributes at 1925 Ibadan Tennis Club Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo state and a Rotary Family Night of Tributes at Rotary Civic Centre, across Akure Mall, Igbatoro Road, Akure, Ondo State.
Christian Wake was held on Thursday 25th May, at the Dome, Igbatoro Road Akure.
Funeral service will be conducted today at the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun DCC 1, Irowo Street, Akure, by 10:00am while reception follows at Bas Events Center, opposite Coop-Cocoa, Along Owo Ilesa Express Road, Akure.
The deceased is survived by an aged mother, wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and relatives.
