The Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, Dr Samuel Akintunde, has been selected as the Guest Speaker at the Annual Oodua Youth Coalition Lecture slated for 23rd of November, 2023 at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.
The event, themed: “Preserving Yoruba Culture: Safeguarding a Rich Heritage From Extinction”, would be held in conjunction with Great Ife Student’s Union
The Osun State Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, will chair the event and would also be honoured with an award of a “Political Icon”.
Speaking along with Dr Akintunde at the lecture is a Nollywood Actress based in Lagos, Mrs Feyikemi Niyi-Olayinka.
While Chief Akindele Omole, Hon. Idowu Odebunmi and Hon. Olajide Oguntodu would feature as Special Guests, Osun State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Prince Kola Adewusi is the Special Guest of Honour.
Royal Mother of the Day, is Yeyeluwa of Ooni, Olori Aderonke Adewuyi Ogunwusi, while Royal Father of the Day, is Ajagbusi Ekun lV, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa Kingdom, Alayeluwa, Oba Dr. Akeem Ogungbangbe.
National President, Oluyi Akintade Tayo, is the Chief Host.
