A former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, has described the elevation of a renowned legal Practitioner, Kayode Ajulo, as timely and well deserved.
The former lawmaker noted that Ajulo’s inimitable expertise in legal matters and strong drive to flawlessly fight for justice, coupled with the dint of hardwork in other fields had earned him the esteemed rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Omole, who is the Akogun of Oka Akoko, stated this in a congratulatory statement made available to newsmen on Friday in Akure, the State capital.
He said, “I join other eminent Nigerians to celebrate you on your elevation to the rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). No doubt, the elevation is well deserved owing to the unassailable fact that you merited it because of your hard work and unwavering stance to issues that are very crucial to nation-building.
“It is imperative I celebrate you because you have amplified the voice of the voiceless with your matchless proficiency in legal matters, and also fought for the oppressed and those whose inalienable rights were once coerced into silence.
“Apart from the aforementioned, your robust feats are enough to freely fetch you this distinguished rank. Before long, a national honour was bestowed on you; You became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator, the Diocesan Registrar of the Anglican Communion, Church of Nigeria, among others. It is evident that you got the rank on merit.
“However, it is my candid advise that you sustain the pace and ensure you don’t derail from the hallmarks that earned you this elevation.
“Congratulations Ajulo, I pray for bigger promotion and the requisite to advocate for the oppressed. I wish you the best.”
