The All Progressives Congress (APC) vetting committee has granted clearance to all 16 aspirants who submitted nomination forms for scrutiny by the Party’s screening committee.
Furthermore, the committee has dismissed allegations of certificate forgery leveled against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa by fellow aspirant Olugbenga Edema. After thorough investigation, the committee found Governor Aiyedatiwa’s WAEC certificate to be genuine and compliant with party guidelines.
In a statement released by Professor Abdulkarim Kana, the committee chairman, it was emphasized that such unfounded accusations could undermine the credibility of the party primaries. The committee affirmed its commitment to ensuring integrity and transparency in the vetting process, thereby upholding internal democracy and good governance within the party.
