Nigerians have been encouraged to let their lives always reflect humility and compassion, as both are the secrets of a successful society.
A women leader and politician, Princess Oladunni Odu, in her Christmas message to the country stressed that the time has come for people to also live for others instead of self alone, noting that such a disposition to life will naturally eliminate corruption, extra judicial killings, societal disruption and other criminal tendencies.
She called on leaders at all levels to be deliberate about taking people out of poverty, and emphasized that it will give the citizens reasons to love Nigeria, and serve the country with all their heart and might.
Odu who expressed pain that most of the values which made Nigeria outstanding had been eroded, called for a rethink by her leaders and followers to change the narrative.
She expressed confidence that 2024 will be a very fulfilling year for the country.
On Ondo state, Odu prayed that the presence of God will always be evident upon the land.
She predicted that the 2024 Governorship election in the state will be peaceful, and the governance template already set by Governor Akeredolu will keep propelling the state to greatness.
