The Iresi of Osi Kingdom, in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo state, Oba David Okunato Olajide, and the people of Osi kingdom have congratulated the newly sworn-in President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima on their well-deserved accomplishments.
The Monarch who spoke on behalf of his people in a statement made available to newsmen expressed confidence that Tinubu’s emergence would bring positive development to the country.
Oba Olajide said it is heartwarming that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has finally achieved his long time dream of leading Nigeria as president.
The monarch said the position of Asiwaju Tinubu as president will go a long way towards providing a good leadership that will guide the country to a better future.
“We are very much happy that your longtime ambition to govern this entire country has now come to reality.
“We pray that the Almighty God that sees the good intentions of your heart shall continue to grant you the grace, wisdom, and strength to bring these good plans and desires to reality, and we shall all be proud of our dear country through your administration.
“We are confident that you will excel in the discharge of your onerous mandate that has now been democratically placed on your shoulders by the people of Nigeria”, the statement concluded.
