In a remarkable display of leadership and transparency, Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, received commendations from the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership for his role as the chairman of the committee overseeing the Ondo State Governorship primary election.
Presenting the committee’s report to the APC national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governor Ododo was praised for his outstanding performance during the primary election, marking his first national assignment. Dr. Ganduje applauded the governor’s leadership skills and the integrity displayed throughout the election process, which included the meticulous collation of results from 203 wards and 18 local government areas, broadcasted live on national television.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Governor Ododo emphasized the thoroughness of the committee’s report, which includes recommendations aimed at ensuring party unity and preparedness for the upcoming November governorship election in Ondo State.
