Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has forwarded a list comprising 12 new commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for scrutiny and endorsement.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, disclosed in a statement that a letter containing the roster of nominees was dispatched to Olamide Oladiji, the Speaker of the House, on Wednesday.
The nominees include Segun Ayerin, Olaolu Akindolire, Hamidu Takuro, Banji Ajaka, Boye Ologbese, Sunday Akinwalere, Lola Fagbemi, Saka Ogunleye, Rasheed Badmus, Olayato Aribo, Adewale Akinlosotu, and Gbenga Olaniyi.
Governor Aiyedatiwa has urged the House of Assembly to promptly consider and confirm the nominees.
Earlier in February, the Governor had submitted the names of six commissioner nominees for screening and confirmation. The confirmed nominees from the previous batch were Olukayode Ajulo, Razaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbasan, Akinwumi Sowore, Oseni Oyeniyi, and Omowumi Isaac.
