…says vehicle necessary for oversight functions
The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, has praised the Ondo state government, under the leadership of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for the provision of official vehicles for members of the state assembly.
Ogunmolasuyi, who is representing Owo Constituency 1 in the state assembly, in a statement he personally signed and made available to TheReports, appreciated Governor Akeredolu for always recognizing the importance of synergy in governance.
The Majority Leader noted that the governor has taken a step further in ensuring members of the legislative arm play their pivotal roles in true democratic governance towards delivering dividends of democracy to their constituents.
Ogunmolasuyi said: “the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON has yet displayed another democratic tenet for honouring lawmakers with new vehicles to carry out their legislative functions”.
Ogunmolasuyi emphasized the need for official cars to ensure oversight activities are conveniently carried out as the state progresses.
The majority leader urged his fellow parliamentarians to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by working hard to ensure the people feel the impacts of the present administration.
He urged the people of Ondo State to keep supporting the government as it works towards taking the state to the next level by alleviating their sufferings.
