HAPPY NEW YEAR ONDO STATE, MAY GOD MAKE IT OUR YEAR OF UNCOMMON DIVINE VISITATION
Great people of Ondo state, I bring you warm greetings from my heart and family.
I also wish to once again commiserate with the people of our dear state over the loss of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who was more than just a Governor. Akeredolu was a leader, a teacher and a forthright man.
His exit really made 2023 a traumatic year but God remains faithful.
I trust God to reward our dear state with a 2024 that is altogether beautiful; a year at the end of which we all will say “truly God has been good to us” .
I trust HIM to visit us with HIS peace and prosperity in all areas.
There is no doubt that 2024 will be a defining year for our state, when we shall go to the polls to elect a new Governor.
We all must see the forthcoming election beginning with the party primaries as a destiny assignment.
We must let God choose for us.
I pray the best candidate will win, and I hope the people will see beyond the strategies of politicians and vote someone after God’s heart.
I urge the political actors and interested parties to make “the good of Ondo state” their priority as they go about the politicking business.
By the grace of God, the foundation laid by Governor Akeredolu and his predecessors for Ondo state will not be destroyed.
