The Oloba of Uso has congratulated the Muslim Community and the Chief Imam of Uso on the celebration of this year’s Eld-el-Kabir Festival.
The monarch, Engineer Ademola Oyinbade Olanipekun III, who particularly thank God for the release of Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, the Chief Imam, from kidnappers’ den said the Muslim Community in Uso has every reason to be grateful during this celebration.
Oba Oyinbade opined that the peaceful co-existence between Muslims and other religions in Uso was an indication that religion can promote harmony and development in the society.
According to the Kabiyesi, “Our Community is very lucky and we are happy to be celebrating this year’s Eld-el-Kabir in peace, without rancour. I really congratulate the Chief Imam of Uso and the entire Muslim Community.”
Oba Oyinbade also used the occasion to pray for the quick recovery of the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON.
